I'm all in on ZigBee and z-wave. The bulb is isolated, don't even know my app login.

Yeah, but the software is self hosted and accesed via browser. I think I'm going with everyone's recommendations and going Debian.

That's really not bad at all. I kinda want to connect it to a dock, set up everything then start using it. I even planned adding all of my bash scripts to use it to troubleshoot on the go. Thank you, you got me excited for it again.
