Sometimes kernel level anti-cheat is good for the consumer, actually.

I was about to relapse and install league of legends, but then vanguard for league was announced, which immediately cured me <3

This reminds of when I was 13 I used to tell my opponents in Warcraft 3 that pessing alt+q+q quickly reveals the map. It's a shortcut for closing the game. Worked way to many times

I do see this working

Wait wait wait, waaaaaaait a fucking minute, this is done by the school itself, as in the bloody adults running the goddamn thing?

Holy hell

There's a flatpak steam package. You could also use distrobox to install containerized packages from other distros.

Wishing for the death of the side that's actively ethnically cleansing your side is definitely not the same as wishing for the death of all of the people you are ethnically cleansing.

I've never seen a more Lebanese picture in my life

The dildo of an unintended consequences is approaching.

Bullies will start blowing vape smoke on other kid's desks to get them in trouble. And someone will eventual create a smoke-box class room to get the screen to light up with alerts.

Then what? You need to cross reference the alerts with a video feed or snapshots.

Then some genius will figure that using AI to analyze all of the data is easier than manually doing so.

The other reason there won’t be an electronic edition is that unlike bunnie, I’m a Chinese national. My offering an app or download specifically for English-speaking hardware engineers to install on their phones would be… iffy. If at some point "I" do offer you such a thing, I’d suggest you not use it.

Damn, them lines are so far apart, if you can't read between them, you're probably legally blind

I'm guessing this "quote" is from this article.

If that's the case, here is the actual paragraph:

The prisoner would be bent over a desk with his hands placed in front of him, handcuffed.

The female soldier, standing behind him, would insert her fingers and other objects into his rectum.

When he reacted or moved back, the soldier standing in front of him would hit him in the head and force him to bend again.

And further down in the article

“Nothing was more humiliating than when they made me take off my clothes, or when they inserted this object into my butt, or when a young female soldier kept [touching my penis].”

English is not my first language, but this does not sound like cavity search

In way it's already a thing. You can install Steam Link on TVs running Android TV

That's not what a thin client, that's just a mini PC. A thin client is a computer that connects to remote sessions, and since that's their main function, they're they don't need more computing power than you need to connect to a report desktop environment.
