Please excuse my maybe stupid question, but did you manage to move your account from lemmy.world to another instance? If so, would you please share how you did that?

It literally gives me discomfort looking at those hands. They look like they feel itchy and hot. Like they are about to burst or something

When posting it once isn't enough

I don't know, I think it's some dago word, but it sounds like a hockey term...

@jabberati I agree with your point, that content for content's sake is not ideal. i wanted to contribute to our new community, without reposting old stuff, which was not created by me, to gain interest and participation. I sincerely hope someone more creative will post better and more original stuff than me in the future. Until then i will continue to make some memes if the mood strikes.

i understand your point. at the moment lemmy is pretty young, but i see it as a process. At the moment i think lemmy is acquiring new users. since i do not have any significant hobbies or knowledge to share, i thought i will do my part in lemmy's growth by creating something and uploading it. i do think lemmy will gain some traction and a lot of new communities will florish over the next weeks and months. I guess we all need some time to get used to this new experience.

I love the way people interact with each other on lemmy. Seems to me like a lot less toxic environment. Let's hope it stays that way.
