"Morale is super high," reads the post from a self-described engineer. "We are paid a ton. Looking forward to my yearly bonus of $100k. Fuck ethics. Money is everything."

If they actually wanted to do something about child abuse they'd go after the conserative scum who have historically supported it and still do. Its the ones that vote for far right parties, are anti higher-ed, pro homeschooling, anti secularism, pro religious indoctrination, anti feminist, anti age of consent laws, anti sex ed, anti criminalisation of marital rape, anti combating domestic violence, pro child marriages etc instead they are constantly trying to attack human's right to privacy which only exist on paper.

Im pretty sure Meta also has different policies for different countries but they don't make it official to avoid backlash from the west. You can make racist, sexist, homophobic comments and even direct calls to violence against athiests and religious minorities if you live in poor religious countries and their moderation team wont do anything. They only take actions when a comment/post or a profile is mass reported which is often impossible to do because being a minority means you're outnumbered.

There are regulations, they are either inadequate or aren't being applied to products or services used by regular consumers. https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/11062200

Also which terms? You can't call yourself an MD, RN or an Attorney etc in US and many other countries if you aren't one. You can't market drugs that haven't been approved by the FDA. Also bastardisation isn't a justification for no regulation.

If "privacy friendly" or "secure" were regulated terms most linux distros would have been sued/fined into bankruptcy for deceptive marketing.
