With India, it's more likely they failed to pay the Police their dues.

Telegram not being part of Western Intelligence Toolkit along with facebook, google, apple and others offends people to the extreme, so they make a hill out of moles. P2P is inherently privacy friendly and your IP is most likely going to geolocate to the ISP. Techcrunch seems retarded.

But do keep up the fearmongering going.

it's funny how double standards are in play when it comes to US and its propaganda guzzlers:

  • Some Uyghurs perform a terrorist act, China uses re-education camps

"China is genociding innocent people, China is our enemy #1 and i'll not so subtly hate anyone looking east asians"

  • Hamas performs terrorist act, Israel blocks aid and supply to the area of civilians that are literally in open prison

"They deserve it, please support them"

I mean extremely horrible are bad but you see the double standards.

Google Search, Adsense/Analytics, Android and Chrome should be broken up.

It's feeding the same evil

it doesn't live up to his expectations while being made by someone else on their free time. This mentality is rampant in opensource.

Is he going to contribute, not likely

is he going to donate so they can work on it, also no

is he going to vaguely ask others to make an app to compete with commercial companies, Oh yesss

It seems they are cutting corners, literally.

Reddit is a now a marketing/customer relations platform disguised as a discussion forum, and has been since it got big long ago. Hundreds of bot account post nonsensical bs around the site for appearing natural until it's their time to defend a corporation with some anecdotes. This is why smaller fediverse instances are important.

Say anything critical about a company on a popular subreddit, and there's a horde of accounts repeating and upvoting the companies talking points. especially if the company has its own subreddit.

"I hate elon musk but… here's why it's actually good thing" "I hate apple but… " "I hate trump but… " "I'm not a fan but… " "I'm not a conservative but… "

Trying to appear as neutral as possible while defending every negative attention against the mother ship.

The developer of Tasker has released so many videos on how to incorporate ChatGPT into the Android Phone, even replacing Google Asaiatant without buying a new phone. Tasker is what, $5 and ChatGPT $20 a month?

Also if you use Firefox Beta, some extensions that use LLM like ChatGPT already work. I use one to summarise text and articles.

Seems like more of an ad rather than an article.

This is why ChatGPT needs to provide sources and references. but since it scraped things indiscriminately, that'll lead them to legal trouble. There's a services like perplexity[.]ai that uses internet search plugin for ChatGPT? and lists sources. much better if you want to check the validity of the things it spits out
