That’s your opinion. in my opinion, what we need most is a space for actual free speech, uncomfortable and unpopular (for the elites) speech, because everywhere else on the internet is moderated to all hell and owned by capitalists. We need an anti capitalist space. Lemmy is the only one I know of so far that makes that possible. Mainstream people have the entire fucking internet why do they need a space that actually allows real leftist thought and expression?

Fucking trump and his followers staged a fucking insurrection and it took four years and the charges essentially thrown out when he won this election. They want this guy memory holed ASAP because he has genuine public support and the elites are terrified we vastly outnumber them and we’re well armed. Trump likes to say he can shoot someone in the middle of fifth avenue and get away with it, and figuratively so far he has. Let’s see what Luigi can get away with. The trumped up charges are in his favor IMO. Too high of a standard to meet.
I support him, but you can be tried at the state and federal level for the same crime. You can’t be charged twice for the same crime at the same level.

Your theory is a third one I haven’t thought of before. He is the shooter but they faked how they found him to protect their secret surveillance capabilities from being reported on. Maybe illegal maybe not, but probably tech they don’t want the public knowing about.
