There is also software that you could compile from source yourself but the binaries are locked behind a donation. Are those also donationware?

It's nice how many threads I actually open to read the comments on here, on Reddit I regularly scrolled past 20 or more posts before finding something interesting again, on lemmy it's every 2nd thread or more
I really like 7 Wonders, for 3-7 players and one round is also not too long with about 20 minutes ^^
