David Gerard has spent much of the last half-decade thoroughly debunking the wilder (and often the not-so-wild) claims of people who claimed blockchain was a technology that would change and save the world.
Now he's turned the same pin-sharp scepticism on LLM AI, in particular noting that many of those who have run grifts for blockchain and NFTs over the last few years are now the self-same people determined to convince the world that AI is coming to get you.
That's easy - Reddit would simply remove the mods who were refusing to moderate. That's long been against reddit's terms and conditions.
Of course that just brings the conversation right back to how Reddit thinks its subs will cope run by brand new inexperienced moderators.
