What are some good encrypted gallery android apps?

Currently using Stingle Photos. While it has a solid encryption its too basic in terms of gallery features. I just have basic single level folders currently and its very hard to manage the photos like that.

What are your suggestions for a good gallery app that is encryption/security oriented but also has good gallery features. Particularly nested folders, some sort or easy search function. If it has tagging it would be excellent.

I dont use sync or cloud features nor do I use GPhotos so such functionality does matter to me.

You should be putting them onto CDs. Lets you have cool covers to recognise them how old it is.

fixed by @skullgiver : it was an entry in /etc/crypttab.

Thanks for all the help everyone. This was an awesome experience.

I don't know how stupid this was to do but many articles suggested it should be fine.

I resized my mouted root partition. Showed a bunch of warnings on resizing a mounted drive but it worked. Also did a sudo resize2fs /dev/sdaX to complete it.

Went from: winEFI, Win11, EFI, root, swap, data1, data2, win-recovery

To : winEFI, Win11, EFI, root, new-data1, win-recovery

But now every boot takes an additional 60-90 seconds with a blank screen. Pressing ESC shows the above log.

I am unsure of how to fix this or even what caused this. The root partition still starts from the same and only grew to right. Is this because of the deleted swap ?

The operations were performed via GParted but I followed this : https://askubuntu.com/questions/24027/how-can-i-resize-an-ext-root-partition-at-runtime

PS: Pop 22.04 Nvidia. Relatively fresh (~3mo) install but severely miscalculated how much size I needed.

They meant gain wealth like apple founders or any other big tech. Believe he derives a salary from Linux foundation for his work. I don't imagine that being anything comparable to owning large percentage of a tech company.

Many have issues with stability. Especially with firefox which comes installed via snap on ubuntu. Similarly compared to deb snaps versions occasionally have weird bugs. I personaaly had an issue with opening files properly using snap but worked fine on deb.

Also its unnecessarily forced. Deb works great and apt is widely used as primary package manager. No need to maintain the system with another one in the mix.

Its also repoted not to work well on otknr platforms like fedora or arch. Other package formats like AppImage, flatpak might be better in that regard though I havent used them.

Wish i had access to such cheap hardware. Companies in my country use them till it gets junked and most refurbishers sell for maybe 20% less than brand new but with significanly reduced warranty.

Depends on the license you have. Also they are termed as suggestions/recommendations.

Equating Android and desktop linux isnt very accurate. Terminal on android is very limited compared to linux. Many common softwares are still installed with commands and occasionally need maintenance and most are done via commands.

Recently helped a few setup ubuntu as dual boot. Installation isnt always smooth and most accompanying software stores are buggy or dont have many commonly used softwares.

Am not a farmer but, doesn't terrace farming lead to soil erosion and lead to more mudslides? Typically because most trees are removed along the mountain sides which would have larger root networks than crops?

A similar issue is going on in china with promotion of terrace farming and crop loss in recent floods.

Assuming they are being sent to the sane ones.

Its more probable they have a list of doctors in alignment with the govts ideology, and who knows what would go on in name of psychology counselling.

Indian criminal laws being replaced many supposedly in response to recent violence but covers a lot more.

My primary observation is it heavily undermines freedom of speech criminalizes more vague blanket activities.

One prior complaint about Indian laws were it primarily protected women. As a departure from that, some of the new laws punishes a gender neutral manner but still only considers women as victims.

I am eager to see how this plays out and received by the public. Atleast for now, many are teeing these as focusing on religious lines and possibly along caste.

And have something worth loosing on gheir PC. Many professional software users using cracks may worry of losing their work files which could be easily backed up.

As long as they dont have their financials or personal information thats worth stealing, the cost saving of the pirated software is worth infection, which at max needs a fresh install.

Thats a pretty wild claim given how most OS have default encryptions enabled or atleast available. Also file encryption is a thing.

Does ytd work well? Many streaming sites I try prevent downloading via ytd.

Especially those using HLS m3u8 to serve videos and shown as blob content. Only addon that seem to work in most of the streamers is https://github.com/puemos/hls-downloader

Even this is a bit buggy in that it would stop working after downloading 4-6 vids and i need to restart the browser. Annoying but works when getting a direct video URL or ytd fails.
