I don't care if they keep the extra couple cents they saved on not giving the cable. I fucking hate getting extra e-junk with my electronics. I hate getting new cables just like I fucking hated getting shitty headsets with pre-smart phones. Nobody used them regardless. For all I care all battery-powered electronics, including laptops, could very well come without chargers and standardised cables, just with large warning on the box (like the one on cigarette packs). That was the fucking point of this EU regulation, to reduce e-junk

No? I use the same usb cable and QC3 charger I got with my 2016 Xiaomi

I'm all for it IF the cable is provided for free on demand to 0,001% of customers who happen to not have one. I have a separate drawer for all my extra usb C and micro usb cables which come with random electronics which I feel bad just throwing in the trash but I know I'll never need.

What's the difference between smart tube and smatttubenext?

we promise we'll use the inferior, proprietary connector

the dropping of support for SMS

Disagree. The fact that most people are clueless about types of messaging and don't distinguish between SMS, MMS, RCS, iMessage, Signal, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, Line and so on just caused extra confusion for regular users. Removing SMS support from Signal was totally justified

Fuck, let's hope they at least allow screws. Click-in latches are prone to breaking and wearing out

the stupidest thing is iPad had USB-C since 2018! and yet on iPhones they latched on to lightning for another 6 years before EU forced them to standardize

Aren't scratch tickets activated in the lottery system at the moment of purchase anyway? They have serial numbers

Looking for an app to list and export as a single text file all my installed apps -- names and package names; including Play Store apps, F-droid apps and those which origin in an apk file. I found List My Apps by Onyxbits, but can't install it unfortunately. Any alternative? preferably foss

I'm considering flashing A13 on my phone, PixelOS in particular, but I want to make sure custom launchers (Lawnchair) are able to fully use gestures, including animations without flashing Magisk and installing the Quickswitch module.

Preferably FOSS and supporting the side swipe up gesture. I know of Sesame, but it's been discontinued and doesn't support the gesture. Firefox on the other hand does support the gesture, but only does online search.

Especially since I have the default-black icon at the moment, therefore it must have been there previously.

My device is Redmi Note 10 Pro running Crdroid 7.19 (Android 11). I have always had problems with Bluetooth randomly disconnecting, but this used to happen like once a couple weeks.

But today my device went crazy. For the last 8 or so hours it's been repeatedly turning bluetooth on and off and every so often showing a "bluetooth keeps stopping" error.

  • I tried clearing cache and data for the Bluetooth app.
  • I cleared cache and dalvik in TWRP.
  • I rebooted plenty of times.
  • I tried changing AVRCP and MAP versions in Developer options

Nothing helped

This is the error log

What can I do?

'Into the Spider-Verse' sequel releases Tuesday, August 8th on Prime Video, iTunes and Microsoft Store.

Main points:

  • the premise of the show came out of nowhere, Scrulls were set up as the good guys in Captain Marvel
  • the small rooms and few characters reduced the perceived gravity of the situation
  • Giah's dilemma between her father and Graviks revolution was skipped over
  • there was no 'secret' to the show, the viewers were ~~omnipotent~~ omniscient; the plot was rushed and everything that could have been an exciting reveal has been wasted
  • we learn nothing about the president, his actions make no sense
