Unpopular opinion: If we ended fossil fuel use immediately a lot of people would die and the entire economy would collapse. People would starve because stores wouldn't be stocked. People would freeze to death because they wouldn't be able to heat their homes. Looting and violence would soon follow.

The only people who would likely be ok are the ultra wealthy.

Change takes time and right now there are no alternatives that can immediately absorb the extra load from cutting off fossil fuels.

Ok I'll be the pedantic comment guy.. AkShUaLly liquids and gasses are both fluids so technically this meme doesn't make sense as "fluid" is not a recognized state of matter. The correct state would be "Gender Liquid", but that sounds like a different sort of good time.

I set mine to manual. It updated in the middle of the night once and my alarm didn't go off and made me a few hours late to work. Could have totally fucked me over if my boss wasn't cool about it.

Fuck'n 2023 and this shit is still happening. The former mayor and his cronies should be charged with treason.
