I have both and hadn't noticed much difference from the results of the HDMI output of the WiiU over a Wii using Component Cables through the same Elgato, but you're probably right about a direct feed to a TV, or adding better quality devices in the chain. I've played OG Xbox through the setup using the Official HD Pack for a long time and have low expectations probably.

Still alive, but our local one is shutting down right after Christmas so I don't think it's going great for them

It's one of my favourite movies. I watched a walking tour on YouTube of the filming locations in Hope BC a few years back, it was pretty interesting with lots of fun facts. Nighthawks (1981) is also pretty gritty and has Rutger Hauer and Billy Dee Williams. A lot more recent and better gritty Stallone movie is Cop Land (1997) from James Mangold, saw it for the first time a few months ago and really enjoyed it.

Can you tell I like Stallone? Went and watched a whole bunch of his movies in a row not too long ago and they're really hit or miss.

edits to add that Billy Dee Williams was also in Nighthawks and that Cop Land is the better movie

Due to Jenner calling her own project and memecoin a ‘scam,’ $JENNER’s market capitalization rapidly plunged to $5 million as confusion ensued and Jenner issued no concrete explanation,” the complaint says. “Investor holdings began losing the majority of their value very rapidly.” But Jenner wasn’t done with $JENNER: she minted another memecoin with the same name on the Ethereum blockchain, and investors–including the plaintiffs–followed her there, too.

There's an old saying in Tennessee... I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee... that says fool me once, shame on... shame on you.

If it wasn't fair use I'm sure they would have gone after Kurzweil (popular assistive technology program designed explicitly for scanning books) a long time ago

A Kingston, Ont., doctor celebrated for organizing drive-thru vaccination clinics that helped thousands get shots at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic is now being ordered to pay back more than $600,000 in fees for those same services.

Dr. Elaine Ma said she organized 45 mass vaccination clinics that administered roughly 35,000 doses between April 2021 and the following February.

Her work was recognized by the Ontario College of Family Physicians, which granted her its Award of Excellence in 2021, in part pointing to Ma's role in boosting local vaccination rates.

About a year later, the doctor said she received notice from the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) seeking to recoup the money she had billed for the shots — approximately $600,000, plus around $35,000 in interest.
