Hard to say. But it's something to consider. Lots of other worthwhile suggestions I see too. Hopefully it's not a combination of things.

Let us know how it goes!

Laptops now use the internal main battery as a replacement of the cmos rs2032 battery (in a lot of em at least).

Not that such a low draw cause this level of drain. Maybe the battery is going out as well.

11 minutes to 55 seconds in their example is interesting. I'd wager this won't do much for the consumer side, but enterprise...could save tons of time.

You're still missing the point.

You can also setup local comms network for them and the bands they can operate in have better structural penetration vs most WiFi/cellular?

It also gives them a singular, simple device that won't be confused for personal notifications like a smart phone.

Not everything needs to be bleeding edge. We still use forks and spoons cuz they just work.

Basically the same reason as my reply to above reply. But in short, you're right. AAA games basically = trash now (rare exceptions probably).

Oh I'm not playing new games anymore. WoW burned me of that years ago (shadowlands refugee). I'm playing single player/local co-op stuff only. Bg3, modded Minecraft/sims 4/cyberpunk etc.

I'm an old millennial and Ive usually preferred games to movies.

I think one reason it's hard for me to watch movies (or even books) is having no control over the narrative. Writing in a lot of TV/movies are just too, well, stupid. Even if a game is bad, you can at least have fun with cheats/mods or having your own objectives. Movies/TV your stuck with their plot as a bystander to a story.

Idk, it worked well for me. Been on fedora for a while now.

Military numbers seem grossly undervalued

Does anyone know how Connectwise RMM does scripting deployments FROM other RMM tools? We are having a tough time trying to figure out how to pass our site tokens through as part of an installation script from DattoRMM, and none of the documentation seems to align correctly. Someone told us it would be something like

msiexec /q /i "%tempdir%\AsioAgentIinstaller.msi"  TOKEN=@RMMSiteToken@ /L*V "%tempdir%\AsioAgentInstaller.log"

but we're not seeming to have much luck with that.

Has anyone successfully scripted their deployment/migration from DattoRMM to CWRMM, and if so, how? We're absolutely vexed at this.

I know this is old news for most of us, but it's something I had just forgotten to get around too. Filtered out Elon musk and X posts. I don't care about any of it, and tired of seeing every seemingly 5th posts being about it.

For those that want to filter things, check your client settings.

Screenshot doesn't even show half.

This was found in an old Aquaman comic laying around in my kids doctor's office!
