It's brutal isn't it? Our markups were 'only' 30-50%, but I hate supporting that garbage practice. Hope you get a release or pick it up in EU travels, I did have a mate get his on a trip home to Italy.

Thrilled to hear. Have you gotten any accessories for it?

I've been debating grabbing a decent battery pack as I have no functional ones, and a dock so I can steam link stream from the gaming PC to my TV.

Can't say im feeling the 3rd party cases, I think I'll stick with the Included.

Really enjoyed it, only recently finished a run with expansion and some QOL mods. Excellent visuals (with RTX), and if your into the theme the story was fun and pretty good. Not perfect by any stretch but solid. Gameplay mechanics is fairly engaging after the 2.0 patch.

It is definitely sad it took so long to get to here though, it was broken on launch beyond bugs - the builds you could do pre 1.5 were plain broken.

That said, we should celebrate anyone making single player games these days seriously, it feels like they are getting very thin on the ground.

For us Aussies in down under, the steam deck AU official launch date is now 19 Nov 2024 , 10am from valve.

I was holding off due to the price / using steam link + a kishi on NY android, but after playing one at PAX AU and changing jobs to be in hotels/train commute, I will be getting one the instant its out.

For the curious, yes we could get grey import them in AU but the price gouging was astronomical, the official valve pricing is actually affordable

I came to the comments for this

I'm fairly certain it is, I've seen it 'confirmed' on Reddit in the past. We have a variety locally, used to feed them raw meat as kids. Fascinating to watch them store and work their meals

We had great Raygun costumes here in the land downunder

Smells like aneurysm posting

Thanks, I actually hadn't fully realized I had to add wikis to the list of corporate run crap I need to avoid. Medium is way bad enough, let alone wikis too

Enjoy, it, Hyperion Cantos is far and away my all time favourite read (so far...)

All good points, but I still don't want to be in front of it honestly

I blocked ML instance pretty quickly on my account. Heavy handed but probably for the best

That's pretty close to how it came out, just a lot more blocky.
