I'm rather new to the Linux ecosystem on my private desktop and with the new update for Stardew Valley, I installed the native version of the game via the provided .sh script. However, as bugfixes are already announced, I'm considering what to do when these updates hit the store.

For the Windows version, there are multiple patch installers. Linux only gets the newest .sh file.

So my question is: When such a game has an update, how do I install this update? Do I just execute the new .sh file and install in the same location? Or do I need to remove my existing installation and do it fresh from groundup?

What's your preferred way to install your games from GOG on a steam deck?

I started using Heroic, but I didn't love it for my own dumb reasons and instead I install the games on the desktop and add them as a non steam game. This process is kind of a drag, and I'm sure heroic has improved since I last used it like 18 months ago or so.

What's your opinion?

Edit: Sentimos la pequeña confusión por decir que estaba nativo, el juego en GoG se publicó con Wine integrado, pero es una versión vieja y es necesario usar una versión más nueva

Gracias a @trinux por el aviso

Basically the title. Does anyone know which bigger games are coming out on GOG this year?

I almost don't buy from other stores anymore, which sadly makes me miss some cool new titles, so I was just wondering if there's something big coming this year to look forward to.
