tried a few solutions from the ubitorrent sub, changed ports and restarted, changed network interface to wifi, fire wall exemption, multiple restarts

the little fire symbol at the bottom changes from green to orange every now and then, but never unstalls the process

id just do a direct download for mhw, but its its 100 gB XD

In regards to the current events of Spotify shutting down modded apks. Was it really worth it for them ?

I think that just like with Adobe products, - because pirated Adobe software was easily accessible back in the day, most of the generation of content creators are proficient and use Adobe software.

Just like that, for Spotify, even if minority of people are using modded apks for Spotify, is that really that bad for them ? It makes the platform more popular and surely some of the people will eventually subscribe to premium plan. It's just like forever trial of winrar - without the trial it would never gotten this popular, but now everyone knows winrar.

From my experience, I can say that I pay for YouTube premium and migrated to YouTube music because of this. Although I like spotify more, I am not sure I will come back. Maybe someday I would have bought Spotify premium as well.

And from the technical side, just how heavy is it to stream a song to a person? I'd bet it takes more compute power to stream html, js, css and all the assets of their website than to stream a song - it's not video like in YouTube's case, so not nearly as much of network throughpout is needed for music.

Now I am not saying that Spotify should just let piracy go completely rampant, but totaly squashing it does not make sense from my view. Especially since all thequarters of 2024 were profitable for them.

What do you think?

Something like in the Deemix app? I used to get music using Deemix but lately Deezer put restrictions in sharing ARL's or something, now nobody wants to share their ARL.

Please suggest an alternative to Deemix, an app/applet that has a GUI, for PC. Please avoid private torrent trackers, I don't have any way to acquire invites nor can I afford hosting services to share files (as required by some private boards to have a 24/7 host pc).

I'm starting to think it is.

A few days ago I got a message on my original cracked spotify (That I originally downloaded from ACMarket a few years ago on another phone, and have been manually reworking the code to make it compatible with my phone ever since, even with my very basic coding skills it worked for years), that the version i'm using is outdated and I needed to update it. The next day it stopped working entirely.

I then turned to Spotube. Sure, it works, but the exasperatingly long loading times, and the YT Music system really doesn't work all that well; For some more obscure songs, the versions that Spotube finds are totally different and it's really jarring to for example, listen to live versions when all you've ever listened to are clean studio recordings.

I then tried xManager 5.8, and downloaded the latest patch from there, but nothing. My playlists appear empty, songs don't play and the app refuses to even emit sound. Older versions behave exactly the same.

Are there any other alternatives out there on the same vein as modded spotify instead of a mix of pulling audio from one API and lyrics/info from another?

For a long time, uTorrent has stopped working for me because of my network coverage or my ISP, so it's been harder for me to watch stuff offline, which is my go-to as I just used to put the files into a USB and plug the drive into my smart TV.

But ever since uTorrent has been closed off for me, I've been struggling to watch stuff by downloading it, and have had to resort to streaming on sites. This is a decent option, but not entirely always feasible. I've tried looking for sites that allow us to download MKV files of movies or shows, but to no avail. If anyone knows any way I can download MP4/MKV files of movies/shows that come with subtitles (not VERY necessary, but appreciated), could someone please help me? Or if there's a process, could someone explain it to me?

How safe is pirated software, like adobe acrobat pro, displayfusion pro, etc? It's one thing to pirate video and music files, but executables (besides games, for some reason I feel safer about those) files scare me.

I have a server running Ubuntu which is used for several things on my home network, most notably as a NAS, Jellyfin server, and Transmission server. With NordVPN I was never able to set it up so that Transmission would run while connected to the VPN while everything else operated as normal on my local network. The problem is that if I connect my Ubuntu server to NordVPN, I would of course lose my SSH connection to my server since it's no longer connected to my home network.

Ny NordVPN subscription is up. Is there a VPN that can accomplish this?

Hey all, I will be needing some help. I have enrolled to a expensive course and it has some very long and good mock tests in it which i want to save offline since I cant afford to purchase it again and time is running out to screenshot each one of them. I need some thing which could scrape the mocks or atleast take and save a screenshot everytime i make a click to next question. I tried IDM site grabber but it didnt help. My Wifi provider says that i have unlimited data to use but apparently i dont cuz after seeding for a few hours my download speed are capped to 11mb/s (aleast thats what it feels like). I use usually have around 75mb/s of download speed if i dont seed. I also have qbittorent closed, and on every other platform i have those slow download speeds. My provider is called Magenta based in austria. I think they are also called Tmobile. Vpn also turned off after seeding. And even if i have my vpn on while downloading i get around 65mb/s.

For context, I logged in through my Spotify account and I listen to music on Spotube by taking the audio from YouTube. I have no issues creating/deleting playlists or deleting specific songs from playlists, but when I choose a song and click “add to playlist” nothing happens.. anyone knows what's going on??

Every single streaming site has me stuck after pressing play. Streameast, Crack, all of them. YouTube and other legal streaming sites work. I've disabled web shields and firewalls, turned off adblock, turned it back on. It just started happening today as far as I know. They all work fine on my other devices (laptop, two tablets and phone). Any thoughts?

Okay, everyone, chill out. I know Fitgirl is very reputable and long-running in the industry, and anyone who complains is immediately downvoted to hell. But I did find this result interesting. Long story short, I downloaded the repack of Kingdom Come from Fitgirl's site straight from the megathread link using the 1337x link on Fitgirl. After downloading, there was the usual defender quarantine on setup.exe, but the label detected was what made me look into this further, with WS detecting it as Trojan:Win32/Occamy.C87. I googled it and found a couple of Reddit threads saying false positive, with the repack comments saying the same thing as well. However, I kinda wanted to know why and how it's a false positive and all the mod on the repack page was saying was it was Heuristics, and basically condescendingly replying to comments without actually explaining.

Googled what that meant, don't really get it. I just decided to VT the setup.exe file myself and found the results interesting to say the least, anyways I ended up just deleting it and not touching the exe. What do you think of the results though?
