For those who have coax in their house, look into MoCHA to turn them all into high speed Ethernet ports 👍

If you use an adapter at each end, each one with additional power requirements, how much extra power are we using for the sake of convenience?

I've used these and was pretty happy with them, but I've always wondered about this.

They are usually about 5W, so not much.

I don’t remember the exact specs but I don’t remember the power ever being something worth noting.

You could also split one off into multiple devices I guess if you get lucky with placement

Coax as in to gently persuade. I'd say 25% hike is more like coercion though, maybe that's the point you're making here?

Thank you for being one of the few (apparently) capable of comprehensive reading, yes. "Coax" here is dishonest at best.
