For sure. We have him try a few bites of everything we make around the house and usually have him try at least a bit of something he's never had before at a restaurant when we eat at one. And definitely praise him for being adventurous when he does it. But he's still an all American burger and fries kid haha

Like you say, I'm hoping it's something he'll eventually grow out of. It was easier when he was a toddler and would just eat whatever we put in front of him. I still have a great video of him just shoveling some sauerkraut into his mouth like it's breakfast cereal.
