Is it possible you have the PWA installed to the homescreen alongside the app? If you have duplicate icons that would explain it but also be very confusing :P
This is an iOS bug that has been around for years (thanks Apple), basically every app has that problem. You have to restart to see the updated app icon. You could probably add a disclaimer that says "if the icon isnβt updating, try restarting your device".
That was the first thing I checked, and nope!
That's very odd. Please keep me posted and I'll keep an eye out as well!
I just uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I can literally watch the icon change randomly. It is showing the old one but when I tap to open the app it briefly flashes the new icon before returning to the old one. Anyways, Iβll do the iOS update overnight and try again in the morning!
