English - Groceries:

  • The commodities sold by a grocer or in a grocery.
  • Plural form of grocery. Multiple retailers of groceries. French - gros ceries:
  • gros = fat (big)
  • cerises = cherries

He did mention he's an English native, though, he'd likely butcher the pronunciation so it sounds like Fat Cherries ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
