Hello new Lemmy friends!
Word on the street tells us our community is regularly making it the all page. While this is very cool news to hear, we can see how the sudden emergence of our posts in your feed might feel jarring and probably raises some questions. And also how, without knowing the backstory, our community might appear less than virtuous, so here’s a very brief introduction which hopefully will clear a few things up.
The woman we’re discussing is a body positive influencer and media personality who has gained fame and wealth by lying, manipulating, exploiting her children for content, plagiarizing BIPOC creators and blaming her BIPOC content editor for it (thereby ruining her career), among other things. Her fraudulent behavior is no different (I’d argue worse) from the likes of Jay Shetty (google him if you don’t know who he is or what he did). She’s the latest in a long line of grifting influencers who are abusing their power, taking advantage of their position and exploiting their followers. The difference is that she’s Canadian. Our laws around social media and advertising aren’t as clear (and where they are she’s disobeyed them), add to that, our mainstream media has protected her from those who’ve tried to expose her grift and silenced/intimidated anyone who’s tried to speak out.
Our Reddit sub was taken down due to reports of copyright infringement, which is unfounded and categorically untrue as no one ever tried to steal her work and pass it off as their own. The mods have made an appeal. While at first glance it may seem like we’re just “shitting on her” the sub has been more devoted to investigation and posting proof of her lies than just bitching for the sake of bitching. The reality is that she’s hurt, manipulated and let down a lot of people. She stole intellectual property and employment, caused mental distress and has repeatedly told lies to boost engagement and profit off her audience, so people are understandably upset that their voices are being silenced.

She'll just recycle an old one probably. She's one of the laziest, most uninspired and uninspiring "influencers" I've ever had the misfortune of watching.

Nope I agree, it’s why I believe when someone else said maybe she got some sort of boob lift or something. I mean I thought her boobs looked bigger than the small chest she says she has but the cleavage lately makes me think she’s showing off.
I mean… cutlet inserts, taping, water bra padding (remember the awful water bras of the early 2000s?) and stick on padding all help people achieve the cleave too? Hormones also helps with this a lot. Perkiness and lift does not happen without surgery or injections but just growth/volume can happen with smoke & mirrors (cutlets, padding, taping) or for real with HRT or weight gain . I always thought she was as least a C?
Not sure what size she claims to be but she’s said many times “I’m a small girl up here” and as someone who actually is SMALL up there, she certainly isn’t.
I just feel it’s another thing she’s hiding about herself because we all know she won’t fess up to any procedures.
It might also be that’s she’s diversified her bras. Knix bras just smoosh. I also think she’s done some quick weight loss and I think she losses on top first which will make her chest more accentuated. I think this cutout top tests well when she’s tries on outfits and practices her poses for insta.
But I also agree that she’d do anything to correct her body - just not the stretch marks - those are naturally beautiful 🙄.
Don’t breasts usually sag more when people lose weight? I fully believe she had something done because bikini tops like the one she was looking super perky and full in don’t do that (she also looks MUCH smaller and flatter in a similar bikini at the SI show). Her breasts look just like mine did after I got a lift and fat transfer. I’m not saying she had that done specifically as there is some downtime but I think she did something. Nothing wrong with getting procedures done if it makes you happy but lying about it and claiming to be a “body positive” influencer is so gross. Ugh I hate what she does to women.
Breasts, our faces, our butts it all will sag with weight loss after 35. She's lost a lot of weight quickly and her face is frozen, her breasts are full and high. She's fake and a liar.
The thing that really gets me is she had this work done AFTER her SI appearance, yet she claims she was so confident. Which one is it Sarah?

I think she had a liquid breast lift.
And she’s so cheap with her own kids. Spend spend spend on herself but she gets dinged on a one day (not even!) trip with her daughters, one of whom is getting ready to go to uni, and she’s complaining about $200. Really? Sad for those girls.
Right? She legit never complains about money she spends on herself daily but complains bc she didn’t get her way yesterday. Most of the stuff bought yesterday was probably for herself considering how much she was babbling on about a dumb animated Mickey Mouse she needs to have.
She probably told the officer “officer don’t you know who I am? I’m a SI swimsuit model I’m sure you could let it go this time”
