Communities I agree with and I have done so, but blocking people is meh for me, I better ignore.
It's a lot different on paltforms like lemmy.
On twitter if you post something and it makes it's way to the wrong part of the site, you can expect dozens to hundreds of people yelling at you for weeks.
Even pissing off one weirdo, sparking them to harass you for ages is frustrating. I've heard of dedicated harassment campaigns on twitter going on for months.
If there is no block function people will just have to put up with harassment... or leave, especially if they're a vulnerable person, like part of one of the many communities that are under attack by the right wing death cult that has taken the site over.
Isn't it more tedious infinite blocking people or is there a tool or a flip you can do to avoid this?
If a constant pile of shit was coming specially at me I'd just turn off notifications of that specific stuff or something, let the trash talk, but that is totally my own point of view.
