I have two Thinkpads, one from my employer and one that's actually mine, and it kinda helps to think of the former as a "Workpad." The work one is a T490S, my private one a T480, and although there are plenty of small differences, they still look alike. Having separate names for them makes it easier not to associate my T480 with work.
