It's Yeonmi Park, who fled North Korea and now makes money telling outlandish stories to overly credulous libs.

Why do people use hand carts, rickshaws, and wagons?

Because of the construction of those. The structure in itself is leight so that the wheels have less friction and turn more easily than a heavy train which needs a power source like coal or electricity to work against that friction.
