Older people in capitalist countries are more conservative because everyone that isn't a beneficiary of the status quo is dead from having no healthcare by the time they get old.

Literally just survivorship bias!

The ones who survived to grow old were the ones that benefited from the system. Thus they think the system did just fine. Because for them, it did!
