The system works as I described it.
If you actually disagree with the tipping model of driver compensation, you cannot utilize DD, UberEats, GrubHub, or any other delivery service that operates on this model.
Understanding the model they use to compensate drivers, your use of the service is an implicit agreement with that model.
You have three options: use the service and tip, don't use the service, or use the service and don't tip. That third option makes you an asshole. Please use one of the other two options.
