Lemmyworld is the biggest right wing instace and that kinda ruins the other instances with their libs and fash users, they also working in some java alternative to lemmy but they have zero progress on that
Because lemmy ml is controled by evil tankies who force freedom loving people to learn rust in order to develop the site
Why did they leave Reddit if they love capitalism so much?
Most go back to Reddit, the ones that stay are the "true believers" in whatever vibes-based ideology occupies their brainpan.

their big idea is to make it so that instances they dont like have way less influence without technically shadowbanning them, the way one of the guys working on it explained it to me is that basically theyre making it so lemmy.ml users' upvotes are ignored by the algorithm and also their comments are put to the bottom on posts or something like that
Completely rewrite a fully functioning foss and decentralized project with a lot of users written in an insanely fast modern language and use ..

i talked to one of the guys leading it and basically their big innovation is that they're going to invent a new kind of shadowban to do to all lemmy.ml users
look it may look like we're not upgrading lemmy to get features we make it look like we're adding due to sublinks but it's totally just because we only want stability
