A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

My parents never did any extravagant trips like to Disney world or Sea world. Knowing what I know now I'm kinda grateful for that. (lemmy.world)

Ofc it doesn't, I am taking about them thinking it's 2.5k for the day trip when we were talking about the ticket. Ig my wording could be better but I am not a native speaker.
