The two party system is so dominant in the US that a tie is more likely than a third party winning any state - it hasn't happened since 1968. Personally, Id be thrilled to see a PSL or Green win, but it's not even really worth the effort of voting.
That's only true on the national level though, local elections can have a pretty big impact on your life and third parties perform better.
