It's been lib playground from the very beginning. When it comes to politics the site is far worse than Reddit. Bluesky libs have a serious blocking/muting fetish. They absolutely love it. The blocking function in particular is nuclear. If you're in a thread and for example you have three comments - if the OP blocks you - all those threads disappear.

In the aftermath of the election and faster exodus from Twitter - there's been a flood of super shitty lib accounts. The site started to be big enough that the worst, most generic, uninteresting, highly popular shitlibs have come over like Meidas Touch. The account name is "clever" lib wordplay based on King Midas and Trump because everything Trump touches turns to shit.

So that means there will be a ton more accounts that like now that Bluesky is cool enough and Twitter is hated enough.

There will be hardly any leftists voices in any popular lib thread due to all the muting/blocking. In my first account I was dismayed to learn I had artists, nature photographers, etc block/mute me because they must have hated my posts on my own profile. To be clear - I only spoke to them about their interests in a polite way. Of course I didn't say something like "Oh, is that a petrel? And why you are shitlib?"
