He is referring to the unnecessary apostrophe.

It's plural so it should be Doctors.

David Tennant is a wrong answer. The answer to Three Doctor's ? Would be Peter Davison's ? Lapel, Colin Baker's ? Lapel, and Sylvester McCoy's ? Umbrella.
