I wanted to buy a Cybertruck (don't judge me, my kid loves it). We also love McDonald's.

I no longer want anything Tesla or even want to eat at McDonald's anymore.

Your kids love it because it looks like something they could have drawn themselves.

Why would you want to buy a vehicle just because your kid likes it?

My life revolves around my kid. So ya. If it makes him happy to be in a car he loves and it fits the families needs, then why wouldn't I?

Buy a real car, then weld some sheet metal panels to it. It will be 10x safer for your kid and they won't know the difference.

If he has to get a vehicle why not one his kid likes? What vehicle choice criteria do you find acceptable?

Safety, efficiency, and price.

Probably utility and price?
