Ya, no rocks. Next time I take my kid to the park, I can take a photo of the older slides. It wears are noticeable . It's quite an amazing idea to use cement.

I normally feel sus for things. Like, was the buyer trying to eat the baby or something? Even if the buyer initially intentions was bad, I felt like the buyer at the very least got the baby away from bad parents and maybe gave this kid a different path in life.

No, it's just polished. Epoxy would just rub off over time. With cement, it just gets more smooth with more use.

They also don't break down like the plastic or metal ones so some of these structures are like 15+ years old. I saw one that was like 40+ years old that was just made on a hill.

In Taiwan, we have CEMENT slides. It's always always cool to the touch, kids are not going down it at terminal velocity and it doesn't generate any static electricity.

If I saw these parents, I would have offered to adopt the kid just to get the poor thing away from bad parents.

I understand why people want minimalist design. I too like this. This is why my 2000 Audi TT has a door flap to cover up the radio when you don't want to see the buttons.

I just got a new job lately. My position is sorta a unicorn position so my new company has been searching for 6 + months. The reason being is that they now require the person to come in 3 times a week in downtown San Francisco. That basically eliminated 99.999999% of people who aren't walking distance from their office.

To get around the 3 times a week in the office, my manager changed the position into a contractor position. Even then it took 2 months to find me.

So because the CEO was a dumbass, his growth team is not running at full potential. Losing more money than he would have made in his real estate property.

Thank you for clicking my post.

I'm currently running a Synology Notestation with around 8 clients and while it mostly works, sometimes images don't load correctly(or doesn't at all) and has failed on me one too many times.

I'm looking for another notes app similar to DS notes.

1- Rich Text Editor 2- Self hosted 3- Has multiple users enabled 4- Native Android app

Nice to have: 1- offline mode 2- FOSS 3- Has an active community

I host files for my entire family and they rely on notes for all their important documents. So it has to be simple to use.

I have tried benotes, but not having a Native Android app makes it hard for normies to use it. I also tried Joplin, but it's single user only.

Thank you for the suggestions.
