I have a Triban RC100 and am looking to convert it to 11 speed. Seeing as I had a budget, I found Sensah Srx Pro and Shimano Rs100 wheels. That was when I got stuck.

I am looking to have some lower gears that would work offroad so what cassette would be compatible?

Thank you for your help.

You kind of beat me to the punch but I saw this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/bicycling/comments/1266tr6/triban_rc100_sora_drivetrain_upgrade/?tl=fr

And wondered if the stock rim could accomodate the advent 1x9 or 1x10?

What do you think?

Would make finding e erything a lot easier.

Probably, shimano has 3 hub types.

  • 7,8,9 speed hub
  • 9,10 speed
  • 11, 12 speed (you can add shim to get it to 10)

If you have access to some 9 speed cassette, try to fit it (ask friends or lbs). I think that the 10 speed won't fit but the 9 might be OK.
