No, that story was written in '67 and all major publications of it were well before Tudyk was famous
This is actually the art from the 1995 game. Still two years before Tudyk's screen debut, though.
Edit: More specifically, this is the art from the GoG/Steam re-release, but it's modified directly from the original boxart.
Edit2: Also, apparently, that's Harlan Ellison's face. TIL.
