True, that’s why I mostly buy used. I can’t see myself buying any electronic new except for important main computer or server parts
Buying used is not as bad but still supports the resale value of consumer-hostile devices, which indirectly supports their new value.
I buy from a local electronic recycler, I highly doubt there is any downside from them saving stuff from being thrown away
They wouldn't save it from being thrown away if people like you weren't buying them.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say its bad, just that buying from consumer-friendly companies as new is still better, in my opinion.
They literally take apart the electronics and recycle all the valuable parts. Why’re you arguing with me over something you don’t understand?
