Summary

Elon Musk’s "MEGA: Make Europe Great Again" slogan, posted on X, sparked backlash from Europeans who criticized it as inflammatory and tone-deaf.

The phrase, reminiscent of far-right rhetoric, coincides with EU scrutiny of X’s compliance with the Digital Services Act, which regulates platform transparency.

Social media users rebuked Musk, urging him to stop influencing Europe’s political and industrial landscape.

The controversy emerges as Europe aims to strengthen its leadership in tech and automotive industries, where Musk’s Tesla and SpaceX already have significant influence.

I really hope the EU and other countries start blocking Twitter and censoring this oligarchical fascist from spreading his shit on them. It needs to happen immediately, not after it's too late.

Everyone shit on Elon for buying and tanking Twitter, but his investment bought the election and has reached billions around the world. Don't treat him like someone that's just making wild statements to be brushed off. People will agree and it gives them a voice that will spread. Shut him down before you can't.
