Ye Power Trippin' Bastards

This is a community in the spirit of "Am I The Asshole" where people can post their own bans from lemmy or reddit or whatever and get some feedback from others whether the ban was justified or not.
Sometimes one just wants to be able to challenge the arguments some mod made and this could be the place for that.
Posting Guidelines
All posts should follow this basic structure:
- Which mods/admins were being Power Tripping Bastards?
- What sanction did they impose (e.g. community ban, instance ban, removed comment)?
- Provide a screenshot of the relevant modlog entry (don’t de-obfuscate mod names).
- Provide a screenshot and explanation of the cause of the sanction (e.g. the post/comment that was removed, or got you banned).
- Explain why you think its unfair and how you would like the situation to be remedied.
Rules
- Post only about bans or other sanctions that you have received from a mod or admin.
- Don’t use private communications to prove your point. We can’t verify them and they can be faked easily.
- Don’t deobfuscate mod names from the modlog with admin powers.
- Don’t harass mods or brigade comms. Don’t word your posts in a way that would trigger such harassment and brigades.
- Do not downvote posts if you think they deserved it. Use the comment votes (see below) for that.
- You can post about power trippin’ in any social media, not just lemmy. Feel free to post about reddit or a forum etc.
- If you are the accused PTB, while you are welcome to respond, please do so within the relevant post.
Expect to receive feedback about your posts, they might even be negative.
Make sure you follow this instance's code of conduct. In other words we won't allow bellyaching about being sanctioned for hate speech or bigotry.
YTPB matrix channel: For real-time discussions about bastards or to appeal mod actions in YPTB itself.
Some acronyms you might see.
- PTB - Power-Tripping Bastard: The commenter agrees with you this was a PTB mod.
- YDI - You Deserved It: The commenter thinks you deserved that mod action.
- BPR - Bait-Provoked Reaction: That mod probably overreacted in charged situation, or due to being baited.
- CLM - Clueless mod: The mod probably just doesn't understand how their software works.

If I were on Tankies@lemmy.tankies.tech insulting tankies or some other nonsense that would make sense.
But I insulted Tankies on Flippanarchy. Anarchy and Tankie by definitions are opposing ideologies.
That would have actually been a good point to have made in the OP 8 hours ago.
I'm starting to think literally nobody understands how the mod log works except for me and most of the people who are mods.
Tbf it's somewhat difficult. For me on PieFed I don't think I can even access it at all, while for others who use a variety of apps they may not be familiar with the process inside that app (e.g. I tried Voyager, but I have zero idea to find the modlog in it). Then for the 1/3rd of people on Lemmy World you are running on software that makes people go into the main modlog and initiate a search using features such as a username, plus having to make assumptions that "3 hours ago" started from... well it obviously wasn't from NOW, and while it is likely from 10 hours ago, that only further pushes back the assumption that you did not edit the post in the meantime (unless like PieFed it shows both the creation as well as the last edit times, and from there you can add the 3 hours to the creation time to get the likely time of its removal). And all of this ignores whether the screenshot that you offered was taken IMMEDIATELY prior to this post, or if there was some huge delay - I've seen posts in this very community where the poster mentions that literally several months have gone by between the removal and the post.
Also the post that you linked is now gone, spitting back the generic error message "Error! There was an error on the server. Try refreshing your browser. If that doesn't work, come back at a later time. If the problem persists, you can seek..." - which we all know to be a lie, bc refreshing will do nothing, nor will returning after any length of time.
However, while all of the above are complicating factors, the fact remains that whatever you are trying to convey is upon you. Neither the screenshot nor the modlog, and now no longer the post as well, say what community name was involved? But if you felt like that fact was relevant, then why not have offered it immediately to people rather than expect them to do all the work to retrieve it? Well, it's a thought to consider at any rate, to get better traction in the future:-).
I just use Lemmy on web and it's always a button at the bottom of every page where you can type in a username or community and even if its on a different instance you see all the relevant actions taken since the beginning of time.
