This weekend is looking positively chilly, I can't wait. I was sweating up a storm when out and about earlier, feels humid and barely any wind.
Maybe a hoodie in something light and diaphanous, in lace maybe. With pockets of course, but definitely a hoodie for hot weather. Call it a sunburn prevention hoodie ... This could catch on.
I bet somewhere like Uniqlo has something like that. Otherwise maybe a store that sells middle eastern style clothes. We need to stop copying european and US fashion and mirror the places that have our climate
My boss has them from Uniqlo. They're for sun protection.
👀
I have these thin, stretchy trousers I wear to work in summer. They're so light, you can tell they were made for humid climates
Nup. Nothing to worry about with respect to dressing for the weather. Appropriation is when you try to make money out of snitching other cultures' good ideas. I will happily wear a sarong, even though it's not my culture. If I did dress to my culture only, I'd be wearing wool next to the skin all year round. Stuff that for a game of soldiers.
I wish that you could still get proper long sleeved kaftans to cover your skin without overheating
Hoodie gang 🫶
Wait til Saturday, Melbourne weather got you covered.
