Well they're more like Authoritarian "Communists", the theory of communism doesn't require human rights violations and restrictions of freedoms.

But the only examples of communism in practice, and the only ones they praise and defend fervently, are places with authoritarian regimes like China.

Tankie is a pejorative label generally applied to authoritarian communists, especially those who support acts of repression by such regimes, their allies, or deny the occurrence of the events thereof. Communism is stateless and classless. How are STATES with authoritarian unanswerable leaders/classes in any way communist?
