The really interesting thing about DS is not the Chinese government has access to everything in it but that it broke the US AI invincibility myth. It a problem that I’ve noticed with developers, “machines are cheap so don’t bother optimising the code” mentality. It’s only when the price tag becomes too high that someone fixes the underlying problem.
