Heard a print complete in the middle of the night. I went to check the filament to start a new print and saw this. Photo freaking finish.

I tend to stand there like a chump and feed the new roll in behind the tail end of the last little bit of the old roll, pressing against it until the extruder gears take up the slack so as to fool the filament sensor...

It's tedious, but it works.

If it works, then great. I recommend getting a kitchen sale out so you know when you need to chump it up for sure.
