Seriously can't escape Elon Musk fucking anywhere. Putting on a filter only helps slightly.
I understand but he is the unofficial president of one of the most powerful nations in the world. It is going to continue like this until he is brought out of power through one way or another.
But Lemmy was obsessed with him far before his ties to the current administration. No reason to believe it won't continue after the next four years.
I was implying that you'll be seeing this until he's dead. It's also a little presumptuous at this point to say it's only gonna be four years with him, what with them trying to change term limits and all.
It is not presumptuous. In order to modify the 22nd amendment, which set term limits for the president, or ratify any amendment, both the HoR and the Senate would need to pass it with 2/3, then 3/4 of the states. That's obviously never going to happen. This doomer talk is not constructive. He won't be here in 4 weeks. His legacy and ideology on the other hand, I fear, will be present for decades to come.
Apologies. Just remembered that awkward moment and can't recall having seen it pointed out since, ya know.
It's only going to get worse.
Because people ignore what they find revolting, instead of revolting.
