Which makes me wonder, what is the breaking point for 78% of Americans, before they start burning it down, and building guillotines in front of ever federal building?

Let's get them all off the couch and to the voting booth first, and then we'll worry about Revolution later after that.

It makes me laugh when people say 70% of people didn't vote for him, what if they all marched into Washington... Like we can't even get a lot of them to march into a voting booth

[–] ubergeek 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Cool. In 23 months we can aim for that.

In the meantime, are we going to work to get anyone worth voting for?

And, in the meantime.... what are we going to do about today's situation, not the voting one in over a year and a half away?

Speak out, push back, network, protest, hold them accountable. Democracy.

You don't go full-Luigi until you've tried everything else.

We've tried the soap box, the ballot box, and the jury box.

There's only one box left.

There’s only one box left.

Are you going to be leading that parade, or just "manage" it from behind?

I'm one drop in the wave, and have no search for authority over others.

So, what do you think?

BTW, I've already been in the front of those waves. I got suck up lots of tears gas, and more than one truncheon strike....

I’m one drop in the wave, and have no search for authority over others.

I'm not accusing you of trying to gain power over others. I'm accusing you of volunteering others to risk their lives for a cause, while you sit behind your keyboard.

So, what do you think?

Creating is harder to do than destroying, so I tend to push back when someone advocates for destroying something, versus preserving what's already been created.

What some people so easily opine as something that should be done first and foremost, is something I would say should only be done last, after all other options have been tried.

BTW, I’ve already been in the front of those waves. I got suck up lots of tears gas, and more than one truncheon strike…

Normally I would respond to something like this with a 'citation required' reply, but I understand one not wanting to dox themself online, so I won't do so.

Having said that, if you are being truthful, then I would expect you to be advocating straightforwardly and more forcefully for what you want, and be willing to lead it, and not just suggest others do it in your stead, which is what your initial comment appeared to be doing (with my apologies if that's incorrect, but that is the impression that I got).
