PARIS, March 3 (Reuters) - France and Britain are proposing a partial one-month truce between Russia and Ukraine that would cover air, sea and energy infrastructure attacks but not include ground fighting, French President Emmanuel Macron and his foreign minister said.

It looks to me like it's an absolute bare minimum thing to see if Russia is even willing to talk. I expect they're not, in which case this serves as grounds for backing Ukraine harder
