If plain meat pies were all sold out what would be your next choice? Mine is always curry.

Why didn't you ask this question yesterday when I had a pie for lunch? Now I'm reading all these pie comments and wanting to have a pie instead of the pizza roll I have. (and for the record, yesterday's pie was beef and mushroom).

Cos it only came to me today when I was eating my curry pie. It was delicious btw.

There are so many good choices, I find it really hard to make that sort of decision.

I have been getting some pies lately that are the leftovers the bakery didn't sell and I get to have a surprise pie, which works for me. They are all good, although the chicken contains a few peas which must be picked out. Strangely enough Miss Meow thought the peas were quite yummy and ate them all.

Curry or meat and mushroom or onion would be my go to.

I'd go for David Blackmore's wagyu rib-eye, Kobe brisket, WA rock lobster, French truffles, German gold flake, and Penfolds Grange gravy 'surf and turf' pie. $12,000 :)

Or

Chilli Beef & Cheese Pie

Good choice. I might go for beef cheese and bacon

Tempura nuggets or spanakopita. Are we talking supermarket or bakery? Bakery a sausage roll.

I'm pretty fond of peppersteak too.

I'll add that if it's an independent bakery, asking if they've got a speciality often pays off. Eg The Murchison bakery does a great chicken pie that I'd never had considered if I hadn't asked.

Curry, pepper or onion. Edit: how could I forget cottage/shepherds? It's my very favourite 🤦🏼‍♀️

My local does a fab mushroom and cheese pie, it's my fave.
