For obvious reasons I'm trying to be more local and cutting out American produce, so I figured a CSA box (Community Supported Agriculture) would be a good move. Unfortunately, DuckDuckGo has given a bewildering collection of results and I've heard some CSAs are less good than others. Have any of you fine folks used any, have any recommendations or anything else that might help?

I currently live on Salt Spring, so I can't speak to what's available in Vancouver right now, but I just signed up for a CSA myself and its the only thing I've done that has provided any real feelings of having actually done something smart and productive in the face of the American threat. I just wanted to say that I think it's great you're doing so, and I hope more people consider it! I know the upfront cost is off-putting and for some it's insurmountable, but if you can, it's a great choice!
