Lemmy's design is focused on quality content by ditching the Karma farmers and addicts. No more chasing upvotes—people here actually focus on real value instead of feeding the ego.

There's multiple sorting types that you can choose for your feed. How do you want your content ordered?

The default is "Active", so it's the most relevant.

Of course there are other ways to sort that do not rely on upvotes, but most don't use them.
