Don't be fooled about this. It's not about dismantling their soft power, but reorganizing it into their new vision and making it "more effective". Maybe it backfires but it most certainly isn't just getting rid of it.

And another part of this is that the previous regime was using a lot of this soft power against the people of the new regime, meaning they will tear the tools that have been used against them, and other tools that they feel are the same regardless of if they are, and then they can focus on their own social media networks.
