Enough Musk Spam
For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.
No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.
Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.
Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.
Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

Naah. In one year, this has blown over and Tesla is up at least 50% from today's prices, if the general stock market goes up of course. And thats doubtful under Trump but maybe a bit.
That's some medical grade copium. Tesla is completely fucked because he's completely alienated its demographic, and he's trying to appeal to another demographic that is diametrically opposed to EVs. He couldn't have fucked Tesla harder if he'd bombed the factories.
At least on Twitter, his demographic was the douchebags that like to hear themselves talk, so he's kept some semblance of a userbase. But he'll no doubt shit on that chessboard soon enough.
Hell I'd say they're screwed for more reasons than that. Tesla's always been a time bomb. Frankly their cars aren't that good. They're poorly made really, which we're seeing visible proof right now with this latest recall. They're going to quickly be outpaced by the competition. Competition that makes more cars and higher quality cars. Their market share isn't close to what their valuation is. It's one of the most, if not the most overvalued stock in the world. Combine that with everything you said and the implosion is inevitable.
